v/a "Blue Skied An' Clear" (morr music)
All this "indietronica" thing is really good. Guitars and vocals go very well with IDM rhythms and synths, this music has got the soul and the spirit.

Jello "Voile" (peacefrog)
Darell Fitton never fails to impress me. I didn't like this album when I heard it for the first time, but it grew on me. Exceptionally beautiful and complicated piece of music.

The Stone Roses "The Stone Roses"
Late 80s Manchester sound, simple and charming.

Placebo "Black Market Music" (virgin)
Rock again, I listen to a lot of guitar based stuff these days. Placebo are the best in energy, emotion and nerve.

Beautumn "White Coffee"
The best ambient album I've heard since first Jochem Paap came out on FAX.

Lali Puna "Scary World Theory" (morr music)
It's the sound of sunshine. My anthem of this summer.

Orbital "Work 1989-2002" (ffrr)
Orbital are probably my number one in the 90s. Compilation albums suck usually, but this one is really nice, perfect for diskman listening. The only weak moment in this CD is that "the box" and "belfast" have no vocals.

Lusine ICL "Iron City" (hymen)
Another artist that never fails and this is probably his best album to date. A kind of "urban downtempo" with a perfect sound.

Ian Brown "Music Of The Spheres" (polydor)
Alter-pop in its best. Excellent songs, excellent vocals and surprisingly complicated electronic sound production.

Depeche Mode "Speak And Spell" (mute)
There's always at least one DM album I actively listen to. This time it's the fist one: naive, positive and energetic. Here are the roots of electroclash and all this "modern disco" wave.
